The role of the pharmacist has evolved exponentially with development to specific and potent synthetic drugs. Pharmacists are employed in Regulatory Control, Drug Management, Community Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy, the Pharmaceutical Industry, Academic Activities, Training of other Health Workers, and Research.
A pharmacist is a health care professional who cooperates and consults with and advises the licensed practitioner concerning drugs. Therefore, they have to be experts in the discovery, development, manufacture and supply of medicines and form an important part of the health care team.
With the advancement in medical sciences, there has been an increasing demand for qualified and trained personnel in Pharmacy profession. To meet this requirement of current scenario and keeping this vision in mind, DRD College of Pharmacy has been established.
