DEPARTMENT OF FUNDAMENTALS OF NURSING
FON Lab at DRD College of Nursing aims to demonstrate competency in performing basic nursing skills for individuals with common health alterations. There are adequate multipurpose mannequins in which student can practice the various nursing procedures before actual experience at hospital.
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING
DRD College of Nursing is having a unique lab for Community Health nursing with all the equipments for the creative work for the students. We are having all the types of AV Aids to stimulate the students for the Community Health Nursing Practice.
NUTRITION DEPARTMENT
The Nutrition Lab is a unique facility designed for onsite demonstrations, cooking, and food displays. The subject of Nutrition is structured to help students gain essential knowledge for maintaining optimum health, calculating balanced diets for various population groups, and applying this understanding in nursing practice.
Students learn to prepare a variety of meal plans and types of food suitable for different categories of patients. The lab also provides hands-on training in various cooking methods used in therapeutic nutrition.
Through this practical learning, students develop a strong foundation in nutritional science, focusing on the promotion of health and well-being across all stages of life.
PRE-CLINICAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT
The Pre-Clinical Science Laboratory is designed to help students acquire essential knowledge of the anatomical structures, functions, and biochemical composition of the human body, as well as the changes that occur during illness.
The lab is well-equipped with models, charts, and structural displays of various human body systems, providing hands-on learning through modern equipment and teaching aids.
Through practical sessions, students gain a thorough understanding of:

The College has a well-equipped Computer Lab featuring systems with the latest configurations to support students’ academic and practical needs.
